The easiest way to add a little glitz to your look might just be with a sparkly belt. We spotted this glitter bow-waist belt by Miu Miu, and we were instantly inspired to re-create one on our own. Fashion Reporter Allison McNamara put together this simple DIY, so you too can make the same sweet statement accessory at home.

If you want real romance, look no further than Valentino's Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. Creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli designed an impeccably gorgeous lineup of gowns, jumpsuits, and coats that — for lack of something less cliché to say — swept us off our feet. Picking up right where it left off after Spring '12, Valentino honed in on the ultra feminine details, neutral colour palette aside. Floor-skimming dresses were updated with panels of refined leather, sheer Victorian lace bodices and sleeves, and some were even artfully covered in glitter. Whether the pieces were endowed with rich tapestry embroidery, metallic floral embellishments, or a sweet collar bow tie, it all worked towards one well-defined theme of pretty elegance. Of course, no Valentino collection is complete without its signature red creations, and the A/W offerings didn't disappoint. We were particularly enamored with the cherry-hue frock adorned with scalloped edges and paired with matching red ankle-strap sandals.
- Trends: Victorian-inspired lace, glittery gowns, refined leather, scalloped hems, and pronounced rounded shoulders.
- Colours: Black, red, pink, white, and metallic beige.
- Key Piece: While the signature red numbers always slay us, we think any of the ultra feminine frocks (lace! sheer! glitter!) needs to make its way into our closet.
- Accessories: Portfolio clutches, slick black shoulder bags, and low-heeled ankle-strap sandals.
- Who Would Wear It: Valentino's longtime admirers à la Jaime King, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Bosworth, and Michelle Williams.

Adele was hands-down our fave at last year's Brit Awards — and not just because she made us cry with her heartwrenching rendition of "Someone Like You". Those peepers were polished to perfection so we wondered if she'd be able to top it this year. Turns out she can. Throwing a little glitter into the mix, alongside her red carpet regulars (big hair, big lashes and big blush) was a smart move. It's another key trend for the season ahead so load up your lips à la Moschino Cheap & Chic or wear it on your eyes with diamond-tipped nails just like Adele.

This Fashion Week has been exceptional for its eye makeup, but the creative use of oversized gold glitter on lids at the Betsey Johnson show was easily a standout. Instead of overwhelming eyes with lots of chunky glitz or shimmer, the makeup artists instead used just a few strategically placed flecks of gold to accentuate the shapes of models' eyes. Combined with bright gold liner in the inner corners and v-shaped taupe shadow to define the crease and lash line, it was a little bit Studio 54 and a lot unexpected glamour. Plus, it's a look that's actually achievable at home. So next time you're going out with the girls, keep this golden idea in mind.
This is the second time in the space of a week that we've seen Dianna Agron with new hair! And both times celeb snapper Tyler Shields has been there to capture the action. Posing for Tyler in a series of shots that revolve around glitter, Dianna wears a neon orange bobbed wig — what say you peeps, is it a keeper? Or do you prefer Dianna's new chop? Either way Tyler couldn't say enough nice things about the Glee girl, writing on his blog: "Magical, beautiful, smart and talented and she likes glitter fights what more do you need to know?" Word, TS.
