Matthew McConaughey, Michael B. Jordan, James Van Der Beek, and more handsome hunks stepped out for the GQ Men of the Year Party in LA on Wednesday. Matthew was joined by his wife, Camila Alves, at the gala, which celebrated the actor and his fellow featured men — including Will Ferrell and rapper Kendrick Lamar — as they were honoured for defining the past 12 months with their irresistible charm, talent, and style. Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan cut a dapper figure in a bright blue jacket and showed off his sexy smile while hitting the red carpet. Though his That Awkward Moment co-star Zac Efron was expected to attend as well, news broke earlier in the day that the actor suffered a fall at his home and had to get his jaw wired shut. Instead, Michael linked up with Pharrell Williams, Andy Samberg, and Glee stars Matthew Morrison, Darren Criss, and Chord Overstreet.
While the party was rife with good-looking guys, there was no shortage of sexy ladies; Chelsea Handler, Amy Poehler, and Lupita Nyong'o all walked the carpet alongside their male counterparts. And though one of GQ's cover stars, Justin Timberlake, was absent from the event, he and wife Jessica Biel were on hand for the private dinner that preceded the awards in NYC on Monday night. The couple posed for photos together while Justin was toasted as the guest of honor by GQ editor Jim Nelson. The singer specifically earned the title "#Hashtag of the Year" due to his being a nonstop trending topic in 2013 and graces the cover of the annual issue as well. In the accompanying interview, Justin opened up about his idea of being cool, saying, "I'm not cool. Being cool is about keeping your blood pressure steady. So no. Don't be cool. Be passionate. Be dedicated. Be tenacious. Be uncompromising. Be pissed. Be happy. Be sad."

Chris Hemsworth had the support of both his real-life and fictional brothers today at the LA premiere of Thor: The Dark World. Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the movie, and Liam Hemsworth were both on hand at the Marvel movie's debut, as was Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, and Nathan Fillion. Luckily for Chris, he told us this evening that his relationship with Liam has little in common with Thor and Loki's relatively contentious one. There's another aspect of Chris's character that might hit closer to home for him, though: the demi-god's knack for heroism. When we asked whether he's ever done anything superhero-worthy in his own life, Chris revealed that he once helped save a surfer from drowning.
Today's red carpet was one of several Chris has walked in recent months. Not only has he made his third big-screen outing as his comic-book character with Thor: The Dark World (in cinemas now), but he also recently starred in Ron Howard's Rush. The F1 racing film didn't top the box office, but Thor's sequel is dominating movie ticket sales, having already raked in more than $109 million internationally. Stay tuned tomorrow for more from the Thor red carpet, including our chat with Tom Hiddleston on how Loki would feel about being such a well-liked bad guy.

Harry Styles spent time sans shirt while relaxing on the Gold Coast on Saturday. He took advantage of the beautiful weather by playing beach volleyball, and later went for a swim to cool off after the game. While in the water, Harry was cautious not to get his new tattoo wet — the One Direction singer took to Twitter earlier this week to debut some new ink, a black and white skull, on his left tricep.
