Jen Unveils a Billboard and Praises Les Grossman's Moves!

Jennifer Lopez had Marc Anthony's support Thursday at an event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in NYC.

Jennifer Lopez had Marc Anthony's support Thursday at an event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in NYC. J Lo was there to unveil the organisation's new billboard in Times Square which features a photo of the pop star as a regular kid with the motto "Be Extraordinary." Marc will have the spotlight this weekend, though, when he takes the reign as king of the city's Puerto Rican Day parade. The duo are in Jennifer's home city after a stint in LA, where they attended Sunday's MTV Movie Awards and she helped Tom Cruise steal the show with his Les Grossman dance performance. J Lo had nothing but praise for Tom, saying that:

"Working with Tom was amazing! I'm such a hard worker and I'm kind of intense about my job. It's great to work with someone who is just as intense and passionate and crazy about getting everything right. . . [Tom] called me a month before and said, 'I have this idea. I'm doing this thing for the MTV Movie Awards and I want it to be a surprise.' I said OK, we'd do a little mash-up of [Ludacris' 'Get Back' and Lopez' song 'Get Right']. I come out and sing a little and then we dance together. But [I told him] you have to learn this cane dance that I do in the video. . . The thing with that routine is that it is one of the hardest routines. But he did it. He really, really did it. And he did a great job. I was really proud of him."

Would You Watch a Les Grossman Movie?

Aziz Ansari may have been the host of this year's MTV Movie Awards, but the night belonged to Les Grossman.

Aziz Ansari may have been the host of this year's MTV Movie Awards, but the night belonged to Les Grossman. Between his dance with Jennifer Lopez and berating Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, all eyes were on the Tom Cruise character. And now, it looks like we could be seeing a whole lot more of Les—he may be getting his own movie. Speaking to reporters backstage, Cruise revealed his plans for a big screen Grossman project, saying, "Yup, we're working on it." This really doesn't surprise me since the character seems to be a hit, but I'm wondering if I'll like an entire two hours with the loud, abrasive personality. He stole many a scene in Tropic Thunder, but perhaps he's better left as a cameo. What do you think?

Pop Watch: Hits and Misses at the MTV Movie Awards

Last night was the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and I'm breaking down the best and worst moments from the show.

Last night was the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and I'm breaking down the best and worst moments from the show. Check out Fab and Bella for all the fashion and beauty coverage and let's start dishing.

Hit: Wow. Tom Cruise is kinda cool again. Tropic Thunder came out in 2008 and if he reprised Les Grossman a few years ago it would have been HILARIOUS. Now it’s just mildly amusing. But as a one-off kind of thing, it was entertaining.
Miss: Tom said backstage that a Les Grossman movie was in the works. No. Just, no...for the love of God NO.
Hit: Kristen Stewart winning the Best Female Performance for New Moon while Robert Pattinson looked on adoringly in the audience. Swoon.
Miss: Host Aziz Ansari’s opening movie spoofs–couldn’t they find something else to spoof besides Precious and The Blind Side?

Sandra, Tom and New Moon Rule the MTV Movie Awards!

The MTV Movie Awards red carpet was undeniably eye-catching and inside the action only got better.

The MTV Movie Awards red carpet was undeniably eye-catching and inside the action only got better. Sandra Bullock may have stepped out a day or two early with her Guys Choice appearance, but she saved the big guns for today. She brought tears to our eyes and was greeted with a standing ovation as Bradley Cooper, Betty White and Scarlett Johansson presented her with the Generation Award. Sandra also assured us that she's doing just fine, with her famous sense of humour—watch video of her acceptance speech here. She even kissed Scarlett, giving Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart competition for favourite lip lock of the evening. New Moon cleaned up during the show, taking home five of the 13 awards—check out the full list of winners. Aziz Ansari skillfully hosted his way through proceedings, popping up in some funny spoofs that can be added to the pantheon of past skits. And of course Tom Cruise played producer of the whole event, Les Grossman. His opening piece and over-the-top dance with Jennifer Lopez was amazing. Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg performed the catchy  "California Gurls," while Christina Aguilera took on a medley from her album Bionic. Amanda Seyfried made cute comments when she got her golden popcorn for Jennifer's Body and Zac Efron cracked a few jokes of his own. He also had a "kiss cam" moment with Vanessa Hudgens, who stepped out on stage with Jessica Alba. Knight and Day costars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz presented the Best Movie to the Twilight crew and a few of Peter Facinelli's many f-bombs slipped past the Stateside censors for the live feed. In case you missed any of the highlights like the previews of Eclipse and Harry Potter, as well as Tom and Jennfier's dance number, watch all the best clips here and stay tuned for coverage from the after parties!

What can I say?

What can I say? The man loves Ludacris! Yes, we've seen Tom Cruise as Les Grossman, shaking his tail feather about a bajillion times, but we've never seen him get down quite like this before. In an amazing match up at the MTV Movie Awards today, Cruise took the stage in character—with a trampoline?!—to booty slap to his favourite rapper. But then, out of nowhere, Jennifer Lopez appeared in a big reveal to give him a run for his money. The result is nothing short of epic. Take a look!

Les Grossman Opens the MTV Movie Awards With Robert, Taylor, Will Smith—Love It or Leave It?

If you want to open up the MTV Movie Awards in a big way, have Les Grossman as your lead in.

If you want to open up the MTV Movie Awards in a big way, have Les Grossman as your lead in. Tom Cruise has been slipping into his imitation of the foul-mouthed Hollywood producer with a series of funny promos and he was back to kick off the award ceremony today—with a little help from Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and more big names. Eclipse's dueling heartthrobs showed up on Les' behalf to do a spoofy Bad-Ass Cops show, while Tom's real life BFF Will Smith also made an appearance. While I would've liked to have seen more of the boys in the police get-ups, the opening definitely had me chuckling. What did you think of the big Les beginning?

Robert Pattinson and Tom Cruise Together in a Hilarious MTV Movie Awards Promo!

Tom Cruise is reprising his amazing Tropic Thunder character Les Grossman to be the "producer" of the MTV Movie Awards.

Tom Cruise is reprising his amazing Tropic Thunder character Les Grossman to be the "producer" of the MTV Movie Awards. In a promo for the event, he's teamed up with none other than Robert Pattinson himself—and it's all about R-Patz' hair (though these days his famous locks are a lot shorter!) Rob will be appearing during the show to debut a new Eclipse clip alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The language of this promo may be a little NSFW, but we love seeing Rob's sense of humour alongside one of Tom's funniest roles. Oh, and Tom and Rob's fist bump? Brilliant.
