There's a blockbuster lineup of alternative peeps for the popular Queensland music festival including The Strokes, Pixies, Ben Harper, Scissor Sisters, The Ting Tings, Hot Chip and local acts include The Temper Trap, Empire of the Sun, Wolfmother and Paul Kelly. It’s the 10th anniversary and the festival will be held in remote Woodfordia. For the first time 20,000 combined event and camping tickets (might we suggest glamping) have been offered. Robbie Williams and Take That are officially back together for an album that has already been recorded! As I reported earlier this week, Robbie is rejoining the band he left in 1995, for an album to be released in November. This will come after "Shame", his duet with Gary Barlow, comes out in October. Robbie was spotted at a recording studio with the boys back in September last year, then teamed up with them on the Helping Haiti single and also joined them on stage briefly at Gary's Children in Need gig.

Katie Price appeared on the UK's Sky News yesterday after arriving back from her honeymoon on Monday. She revealed that the honeymoon was just for TV and that she and husband Alex Reid will go away privately later this year. Katie talked about her new single "Free to Love Again" which she recorded three weeks ago with no record company's backing—she's doing it all herself and putting it out digitally. It's been reported that Robbie Williams will definitely rejoin his former band Take That for an album and tour after his single with Gary Barlow is released later this year. Robbie has a greatest hits album coming out and "Shame"—his collaboration with Gary—is one of the new songs that will be added to the collection. As much as I love The Killers, I'm pretty amped for lead singer Brandon Flowers's solo effort, Flamingo. The first track, "Crossfire," still has a bit of his band's sound, if a little stripped down. The big news in the music video for the song is that Charlize Theron stars opposite Flowers, as a sexy, dirty, warrior type sent to rescue Flowers—all the while gazing at him with besotted doe eyes.
