Tuesday night marked the American Reunion premiere in LA, and the original cast of the franchise turned out to support the latest instalment in the series. Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein and Tara Reid were just some of the actors who joined forces on the red carpet at the US debut. (Several of the stars travelled to Australia earlier this month for a premiere in Melbourne.) The new movie picks up 13 years after the American Pie class has graduated from high school, and at a slightly delayed 10-year reunion, the friends reunite for a weekend of reminiscing and, of course, sexual misadventures.

The premiere also prompted one of the original cast members to share some happy news on the red carpet — Seann William Scott is engaged to his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend! Stay tuned in the coming weeks to catch our interviews with Seann and the rest of the stars of American Reunion before the movie hits cinemas on April 5.

Melbourne played host to the Australian premiere of American Pie: Reunion last night, with the stars walking the American flag-themed red carpet at Melbourne Central. Leading man Jason Biggs goofed around as photographers snapped him on his way in, while Seann William Scott, who is apparently nothing like his character Stifler, had his own photo fun by getting behind one of the cameras. Mena Suvari and Tara Reid upped the glam factor at the event, and Mena joined American Pie love interest Chris Klein for twirl. Earlier in the week the stars went to Harry’s Cafe de Wheels in Woolloomooloo, Sydney for a photo call — and to indulge in some pies! American Pie: Reunion is released nationally on April 5.

The cast of American Pie: Reunion flew in to Sydney yesterday and kicked off their Australian press tour today. Jason Biggs, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Seann William Scott, Chris Klein and Eugene Levy were joined by filmmakers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg for the trip, and they assembled at local food attraction Harry’s Cafe de Wheels in Woolloomooloo for a photo call — and some pie-eating! Alyson Hannigan’s absence was one of the main topics of the day, but Mena and Tara still provided some glam factor next to their leading men. Tomorrow night, fans in Melbourne will get a chance to get up close and personal with the stars at the red carpet premiere. American Pie: Reunion is released nationally on Apr. 5.

Ready for another helping of pie? Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy have all negotiated deals for a fourth American Pie film titled, American Reunion. We first heard rumblings of a fourquel over a year ago, but with this latest news, it appears the film has gotten the green light. So which other cast members should sign on next? Universal has reportedly reached out to Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge, but they're definitely not the only actors I'd like to see return. What about Eddie Kaye Thomas, better known as Finch? Certainly they can't have Stifler's mum without her much younger sex buddy. Alyson Hannigan is also a must (just imagine if Michelle and Jim are parents!). Place your pick for who you'd most like to see reprise their role.

A source close to both explains:

They just couldn't get along. Mark wanted to live in San Diego and Jennifer is a native New Yorker; the issue of where to live was emblematic of deeper problems in their relationship.

Jennifer was married to The Hangover star Bradley Cooper for four months back in 2007, meanwhile Mark has dated Delta Goodrem, Paris Hilton and Tara Reid.

The two seem to have rebounded quickly. Last month Mark was spotted with several different women in LA and Jennifer was recently seen cuddling and holding hands with a hot new man in New York’s Meatpacking District.
