Last year may have been all about "Gangnam Style," but this year the biggest viral craze to hit the Internet (so far) is the Harlem Shake. Heaps of people are doing it, millions of people are watching it, and naturally celebrities have gotten in on the act. But where did it come from, and why is it so popular? Read on for some quick facts on the Harlem Shake meme.
The upcoming film Beautiful Creatures — out in Australia on Jan. 21 — is based on a YA book series and follows the relationship between a magical being and and a mortal. But don't be too quick to disregard it as yet another paranormal romance. With its smart dialogue, literary themes, touching love story and all-star cast (including Jeremy Irons, Emmy Rossum, Viola Davis and Emma Thompson), we think it deserves to stand on its own.
The film's greatest strength may be its stars, newcomers Alice Englert and Alden Ehrenreich. The pair play star-crossed teen lovers in the Deep South, with Alice as a new girl in town who happens to be a witch (or "caster") and Alden as bookish popular guy Ethan Wate. We recently chatted with Alice and Alden about Valentine's Day horror stories, their favourite books, and awkward bonding with their co-stars over foot massages. Watch now to see what they said!

Hands up who has a crush on Christopher Abbott? You know, Charlie from Girls? Well if you don't, you just might after watching this short but oh-so-sweet clip from Free People. The US-based chain store known for its boho-gypsetting aesthetic is making in-roads in Australia — delivering down under via their e-shop and launching a pop-up store in Brisbane. Word on the street is that Free People may soon be available IRL via Myer in Sydney and Melbourne. Or, you can find your local stockist by calling (07) 5591 7233. Anyway, back to the cute boy, we mean, cool clothes. The moody film really does draw you into this romantic tale but we couldn't help but notice the flash of an anglaise hem, and the camera spanning over the odd expanse of cotton voille paisley print. The threads really do play an important supporting role. Watch the clip. . .
Drew Barrymore opened up about motherhood during an appearance on Katie yesterday. She talked about her plans to raise daughter Olive, who she welcomed in September. Drew famously had some ups and downs in her younger years as a child actress in Hollywood, and she told host Katie Couric that while she doesn't want to give her daughter the impression that she is "ashamed" of how she was raised, she does want to do a lot of things differently. She said, "A lot of my life was loosey-goosey and hippie and in the spotlight, and I actually feel very opposite about that as a parent. I'm very into structure and guidance, and protection and privacy." Watch the clip for more from Drew!
