InStyle hosted another of its famous post-Golden Globes bashes at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night! As always, the magazine gathered some of the biggest stars from TV and film. Will Arnett and Amy Poehler joked around on the party's red carpet, while Sofia Vergara prepped to celebrate Modern Family's best comedy series win. Rachel Zoe wore a dress from her own collection to mingle with friends, and Orlando Bloom threw an arm around his Dolce and Gabbana-clad wife Miranda Kerr on the way inside.

Miranda and Orlando didn't have projects in the running last night, but they had plenty to toast anyway — Orlando had a birthday Friday, and Miranda was just named a new celebrity ambassador for Qantas Airways. They had plenty of famous pals to share Moët with last night, including Kate Beckinsale, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Zooey Deschanel. Other Globes winners like The Help's Octavia Spencer, Boss's Kelsey Grammer, and Luther's Idris Elba. To see photos of them all en route to InStyle's bash, check out our gallery.

Life is more than a barrel of laughs in Will Arnett and Amy Poehler's home. The funny parents have their hands full with Archie, 3, and Abel, 1, ruling the roost, and daddy Will spilled the beans while appearing on the Late Show With David Letterman. The Up All Night star talked about how fast his boys are growing up and how lil Abel is quickly gaining on his big brother.

Amy Poehler's Funny Friends Toast Her at Variety's Power of Comedy Event

Amy Poehler was the honored guest at Saturday night's Variety Power of Comedy event, and many of her friends, family, and past and present costars turned up to toast — and sometimes roast — the Parks and Recreation star. Will Ferrell, Maya Rudolph, Whitney Cummings, and of course, Will Arnett, were among the celebs who attended or took the stage during the soiree.

We caught up with Will and Amy before the show kicked off, and the pair told us that despite their comedic talents, their two sons get the most laughs at home. Will and Amy made a date night of the annual event, which is held as a benefit for women's cancers. Last year, Russell Brand was awarded for his comedic chops, and he shared a video message with Amy, as did her former "Weekend Update" cohort Tina Fey. Will Ferrell jokingly went in for a kiss as he presented Amy with her award at the close of the show, and during the evening, both Maya and Ken Jeong performed silly songs in her honor. We spoke with Ken on the red carpet, who told us the evening had special meaning for him not only as an admirer of Amy's, but because his wife is a breast-cancer survivor herself.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Hit the Town Together Again!

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were together, yet apart at the seventh annual Worldwide Orphans Foundation's benefit gala held at NYC's Cipriani Wall Street last night. The photo-shy couple posed separately on the red carpet, then reconvened once inside the space. Both Emma, who was in Calvin Klein, and Andrew tried on a pair of blue pipe-cleaner glasses that resembled the colorful specs worn by the organization's founder, Dr. Jane Aronson. Amy Poehler and Will Arnett also modeled the fake frames for photographers, though Mary-Louise Parker passed on the chance. The WWO event is annually a big draw for celebrities, and last year, Heidi Klum and Seal joined Dr. Aronson for the fun.

The evening was Emma and Andrew's latest out on the town, after they hit up last Thursday's American Museum of Natural History gala. Andrew even crashed Emma's SNL monologue over the weekend, when they jokingly broke the news to Andy Samberg that all the roles in The Amazing Spider-Man have already been cast.

Who Was Your Favorite Celebrity Couple at the Emmys?

There was plenty of fabulous fashion on the 2011 Emmy Awards red carpet, but we also loved to see some of Hollywood's hottest couples posing for photographers.

There was plenty of fabulous fashion on the 2011 Emmy Awards red carpet, but we also loved to see some of Hollywood's hottest couples posing for photographers. Emily Blunt escorted her husband, John Krasinski, to the big show, while Ian Somerhalder joined his lovely Vampire Diaries costar and girlfriend Nina Dobrev. Funny pair Amy Poehler and Will Arnett cracked jokes on their way down the red carpet as Mad Men's Jon Hamm was overheard complimenting longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt on her vintage yellow gown. True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer joined the festivities, as did Late Night's own Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen. Project Runway host Heidi Klum was never more than a few steps away from her good-looking husband Seal. Modern Family's Sarah Hyland invited boyfriend Matt Prokop, and Mad Men's sexy siren Christina Hendricks happily stuck by her hubby Geoffrey Arend. So, tell us — which celebrity couple was your favorite at the Emmys?

Pilot Scoop: Up All Night

Tonight is the debut of Up All Night, NBC's new comedy starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as a couple adjusting to their life as parents.

Tonight is the debut of Up All Night, NBC's new comedy starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as a couple adjusting to their life as parents. If you're on the fence about tuning in this evening, check out my pilot scoop on the first episode to see whether it sounds like something you'd enjoy.

What it's about: Applegate and Arnett play married couple Reagan and Chris, who have just become first-time parents. The show follows the pair as they try to get used to their new roles and routine: Chris has become a stay-at-home dad so that Reagan can go back to work full time. Maya Rudolph has a supporting part as Reagan's demanding but well-meaning boss Ava.

Where it works: I love Arnett as Chris, because it's one of the rare times we see the actor toning himself down to play an all-around nice guy. Not that I don't love his usual shtick, but it's great to see him expanding his range. Also, he, Applegate, and Rudolph are a killer comedy team in a pilot that has tons of laugh-out-loud moments and great writing.

Where it doesn't: If you're dealing with the similar work/life stress that Reagan and Chris are, this show might not be the escapist fare you're looking for.

You might like this show if: You like the fun, irreverent humor of Cougar Town and Happy Endings.

When is it on: Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph, and Christina Applegate Swap Parenting Stories and Talk Up All Night

NBC's new comedy Up All Night took the stage at the Summer TCA, bringing three very familiar faces with it: Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph, and Christina Applegate.

NBC's new comedy Up All Night took the stage at the Summer TCA, bringing three very familiar faces with it: Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph, and Christina Applegate. In the series, Applegate and Arnett play new parents who are trying to balance work and family while staying true to themselves. Rudolph plays Applegate's boss, though that's not going to stop her from sharing her parenting stories in the writers' room. In fact, the running theme of the panel was how they're connected by parenthood. Here's more from the panel:

  • The writers and showrunners are expecting to draw a lot of material from their own experience as parents. Rudolph said, "I've got three kids so I'm a crazy person. I've got stories to give stories to stories. The funny irony is that I'm the one without the kid on the show, but that won't stop me from chiming in."
  • Applegate quipped that her own daughter, Sadie, isn't as calm as the twin actresses who play her small-screen daughter. She also added that art is definitely imitating life, saying, "I'm still a mom who's up all night with her kid going to work. It definitely parallels a great deal."
  • Rudolph's onscreen persona will be that of a talk show host, not unlike Oprah. The rub? She'll be out of control backstage but totally in control for her show. Sounds like the perfect dichotomy for Rudolph, who spent plenty of time honing her Oprah impression on Saturday Night Live.
  • Applegate says she can especially relate to her character's need to stay hip even as a parent. She said, "I gave birth to my daughter at 39 years old, so I had many years of being completely self-obsessed and self-absorbed and doing what I wanted to do. There's a generation of people 39-40 who still say 'dude' a lot. I don't know if we've grown up entirely. I still feel like I'm in my early 20s. That's what these characters are — these sort of 'later in life' parents."
  • Arnett is returning to the TCA just one year after Running Wilde premiered (and was quickly canceled). It wasn't in his plan to give the small screen another shot so soon, but he said, "I wasn't really thinking about doing anything this year but I read this script and I immediately thought, 'Yeah this is something I relate to.' So whatever sort of limits I'd set for myself, they were immediately thrown out the window."
