Will Smith joined up with Jada Pinkett Smith at the premiere of Free Angela and All Political Prisoners in NYC yesterday. Jada and Will are executive producers of the new documentary, which follows the life of activist Angela Davis, and Jada has been promoting the upcoming flick all over the city this past week. She appeared on Good Morning America yesterday, where she talked about the process of getting on board with the film and a recent essay she had written about the public's attitude towards young celebrities. In another interview, Jada discussed the rumour that she has an open marriage with Will Smith. She said, "I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay.' Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa."

After Earth Trailer: Will and Jaden Smith Go Post-Apocalyptic
After Earth, director M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming post-apocalyptic film, is a father-and-son story, starring real-life father and son Will Smith and Jaden Smith. The two are left to fend for themselves when their spaceship crash-lands onto a mostly deserted planet Earth, which has been human-free for a thousand years.

There are two things that really caught my attention in this trailer: the first is Will Smith's strange, vaguely Southern accent that we hear as he narrates over the imagery of a lush, jungle-like version of our planet. The second is how much Jaden Smith has grown up. The adorable kid from The Pursuit of Happynessis a full-fledged teenager now, and I'm looking forward to seeing if he's inherited his father's action-star capabilities. We'll have to wait until June 6 to find out — another bonus: Lincoln Lewis co-stars! We're yet to have a glimpse of him — but until then, check out the preview when you read more.
Looking Back at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's Wedding Pictures
It was less than six years ago that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in a fairy-tale ceremony in Italy. The couple rented out Odescalchi Castle, near Rome, to say their vows before family and famous friends like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. For the November 18, 2006 nuptials, Tom and Katie had a then seven-month-old Suri Cruise by their sides, along with Tom's children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, 11-year-old Connor and 13-year-old Isabella. The bride wore Armani to say her "I dos." Today, though, we learned that Tom and Katie are divorcing. As we process the news, click through to see their special day.
Will Smith Brings MIB 3 to NYC With Help From His Co-Stars and Family
Will Smith and his Men in Black 3 co-stars brought their blockbuster to NYC on Wednesday night after a string of European premieres. Will looked dapper in a checkered Gucci suit accompanied by wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who recently returned from the Cannes Film Festival, where she promoted Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. Will and Jada's kids Willow and Jaden were also on hand for the premiere, as were MIB 3 newcomers Josh Brolin, Alice Eve and Michael Stuhlbarg, and franchise vet Tommy Lee Jones. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Respond to Split Rumours
A report from US tabloid In Touch has claimed that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have separated after 13 years of marriage. The Hollywood couple have released a statement to Entertainment Tonight to counter these reports:
Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact.
Will’s son, Trey Smith, also fought the claims on Twitter, where he posted, “Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split ! False information ..its not true RETWEET!!!” The rumours also say that Jada had been having an affair with her newly-single HawthoRNe co-star Marc Anthony, but Marc’s rep has said, “We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough. There are families involved, children involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true.”

See Pictures From Oprah's Star-Studded Surprise Farewell!
A whole range of celebrity guests turned out for the Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular in Chicago yesterday. It was a huge event, at the city's United Center, organised to tape the second- and third-to-last episodes of Oprah's long-running TV show that will air here on May 25 and 26. Tom Hanks played host for the first of two hours of taping, and he introduced the show by saying, "Now Oprah, I know you don't like surprises. Let me see if I can put you at ease. There was an English playwright who said there's no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved, and that is what tonight is all about." The second 60-minute segment was emceed by Will Smith, on a break from shooting Men in Black 3, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The night was filled with tributes from the stars and people whose lives have been touched by Oprah, and near its conclusion there was a cameo from Oprah's long-term boyfriend Stedman Graham! Stedman spoke sweetly of his lady love, commenting, " I love you for making a difference in my life." All of the affection eventually got to Oprah, who broke down in tears. She wrapped things up by saying, "Thank you for taking me to a place that is beyond joyous — It feels like the rapture."
Oprah's Final Episodes Draw a Celebrity-Packed Guestlist
It’s nothing but the best for the reigning queen of talk show TV! A who’s who of Hollywood’s A-list and the biggest names in music joined forces to give Oprah Winfrey one of the most star-studded send-offs in television. As you know, Oprah is wrapping up 25 years of her successful talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, to focus her energy on her network, OWN. She just taped her third and second-last episodes at the United Center in Chicago, which are set to air next week (Channel Ten will screen them around the same time), and as the title Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular suggests, all the guest appearances and performances were kept hidden from Oprah until she saw them on stage at the same time as the audience.

The arena was filled with some 13,000 lucky guests who were able to experience the historical TV moment. Tom Hanks acted as MC, telling Oprah, “Today you are surrounded by nothing but love.” Then more big names took their turns on the stage, gushing about Oprah and all she had achieved during her quarter-century on air, including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Madonna, Diane Sawyer, Dakota Fanning, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Jerry Seinfeld, Simon Cowell, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Jordan, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. There were performances from the Black Eyed Peas, Beyoncé (who had to tape hers twice due to technical problems the first time), Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban and Patti LaBelle, Kristin Chenoweth, Alicia Keys, Usher and Aretha Franklin.
Stars Have a Slimey Good Time at the Kids' Choice Awards!
The 24th annual Kids' Choice Awards brought out tons of stars to the Galen Center on the campus of USC in downtown LA on Saturday. Nickelodeon flew an enormous orange blimp over the event and rolled out the neon carpet for the arrival of young celebrities like Willow and Jaden Smith, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. The night kicked off with an energetic performance from the Black Eyed Peas who were joined on stage during dance routine by the show's host, Jack Black. Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance and was the first winner of the evening. He's a veteran of dealing with slime and celebrated his win for Best Male Actor by dispensing a shower of green rain over the audience, and himself. Heidi Klum got in on the fun as well when she opened an envelope that splashed the goo all over her dress, while her presenting partner Nick Cannon managed to avoid the mess. Will Smith kept dry throughout the evening and watched from the front row during Willow's adorable mashup of "21st Century Girl" and "Whip My Hair."
Justin Timberlake was on hand to receive the Big Help Award which celebrates stars who give back to the community. Russell Brand took a break from promoting Hop and Arthur to team up with Modern Family's Rico Rodriguez, though Katy Perry couldn't be there to accept her award for Favourite Female Singer as she's currently on tour. Miley Cyrus took home the coveted blimp for Best Female Actress in a floral floor length gown and Kim Kardashian wore a short and flirty mini dress to present the last award of the night.
