2010 A/W LFW: Vivienne Westwood Red Label

It's lucky that we conceded to liking the two-tone lip that Nanette Lepore displayed at NYFW because Dame Viv has gone and done it, too. While the rest of the face stuck to the "no makeup makeup" rule (save for the muddied out ears and hairline), the top lip was coated with a matte mink shade, while the bottom lip was paled out completely, which is easy to do, simply extend your foundation over your lip. For the mink shade, try MAC Lipstick in Icon ($35); despite its frosted finish, it's a close match, colour-wise. The hair was basically a big backcombed bird's nest, so if you take anything away with you from this show, let it be the lip colour which you can wear on both lips, if you don't want to brave the two-tone, remember.
