2011 Fall New York Fashion Week Backstage Beauty Report: Isaac Mizrahi

2011 Fall New York Fashion Week: Isaac Mizrahi

When a collection's named "Poodle & Cake," you're never really too sure what you're going to get. We soon learnt that as well as pink poodles (their fur had been dyed to match the clothes; as you do), it meant that models were to wear what can only be described as poodle poufs which kept Wella hair director Eugene Souleiman up all night! Val Garland, MAC makeup director, referenced the early '90s and Grace Kelly as influence for the makeup look, which meant groomed brows, a lined eye and gorgeous toffee lips, with a matching mani by CND. It was a fun look, but ultimately one that was wearable (pouf optional). Thoughts? Do you like it?
