2011 Fall New York Fashion Week Backstage Beauty Report: Proenza Schouler

2011 Fall New York Fashion Week: Proenza Schouler

"Native American Indians" were referenced as inspiration backstage at Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 where Diane Kendall, working for MAC, and Paul Hanlon, working for Frédéric Fekkai, teamed up to create the natural look. The skin was the focal point of the makeup palette with lashes being left bare, and just foundation being patted into the lips. From the front, models looked as though they were sporting faux bobs, but the girls had actually been given hair extensions that were then secured at the nape of models' necks in a teased braid-meets-pony.
