Backstage at Arnsdorf, mane man Richard Kavanagh, working for Redken, created an effortless, elegant low chignon. The style had a "subtle nod to the '60s," according to Richard, and combined multiple textures with a wet-look part and powdery ends. Leading the makeup team was Mecca Cosmetica's Head of Artistry Tony Baumann, who again cited "effortless" and "elegant" as key words to the makeup palette, which featured a glossy eye courtesy of Egyptain Magic, with a wash of gold across the brow bone.

STEP 1: Start with dry hair. layer in touch control mousse, a little bit of guts mousse, wool shake and blast dry with hairdryer. That will create that really "fat" powdery textures.
STEP 2: Brush that out. Pull the hair into a ponytail, tied low at the nape. Twist and pin into a bun.
STEP 3: Using Forcefull hairspray to create the wet-look fringe, gently work and place the fringe so that it kisses the eyelash and then lots of product to give it the wet-look feel and twisted and tweaking out those little bits to finish.
