We headed backstage at Bec & Bridge where one of the biggest trends from the recent international runways — the '70s — was out in full force. Lead makeup artist Max May, working for MAC, shared with me that his bestie Lara Bingle is doing great in training for Dancing With the Stars and is also a big fan of BellaSugar! Max created a bronze metallic eye — a tone he says works on all skin tones — and left skin raw, applying no foundation to models' skin. Clive Allwright, KMS California hair director, continued the '70s feel throughout the hair, giving models a centre part with lots of body in the ends.

Check out the hair how-to now . . .
STEP 1: The girls have layers in which is great, but we added some additional hair in to bulk the hair up a bit. We also used Root & body lift, sea salt spray to get the hair that bit fuller.
STEP 2: Clive then parted hair in the centre and used Hot Press Spray before tonging the models' hair.
STEP 3: This is the most important step. Pin the curls up. It's the cooling that curls the hair, not the heat, so this is the most important step if you want your body and waves to hold.
STEP 4: Pull pins out once hair has cool, brush through with a Mason Pearson and add some Dry Wax Aerosol to bulk hair up, finishing off with a little medium-hold hairspray.
