DRAMAS. Can you believe that they couldn't pick between Kelsey and Sophie? I mean pur-lease. Kelsey nailed the Harper's shoot. Nailed it. Not that I'm trying to influence your vote or anything. Well maybe. Just a bit. But who-you're-gonna-vote-for aside, we can all take something away with us from Australia's Next Top Model this season: how to create the perfect sleek and chic high chignon. Because if NYFW taught us anything, it's that this style is going nowhere, baby. I caught up with the mane man, Mr. Joh Bailey for his rundown on the style he created for Amanda and Kelsey.
STEP 1: Prep hair with TRESemmé Salon Finish Extra Control Mousse and then blow-dry straight. You need to get hair smooth and sleek so work with a round brush as you blow-dry.

STEP 3: Twist the ponytail and then twist it around itself to form a high bun. This looks like a tight bun, but you actually don't want to twist too tightly as then you will lose some of the volume. Try to twist the hair on top of itself for the height. Pin at the base of the bun.
STEP 4: Finish with TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hairspray ($7.95). It's essential to tame any frizz and give it that slicked back, almost "wet" look.
