RAFW 2010: Stars in Their Eyes at Ellery

The astrological chart provided inspiration for the makeup look at Ellery which was directed by Linda Jefferyes using id Bare Minerals. There were two different looks: full-on glitter in gold, silver, pink and black that looked almost as if it had been sprayed on; and a really dewy, clean and translucent palette that featured just a hint of copper on the eye. Interestingly Linda used the id Bare Minerals powder foundation for the latter look and was still able to keep the dewy look showing through by moisturising the skin first and then buffing in a light layer of the product. And good news for all those glitter fans, Linda reckons glitter is back! She's been using heaps of metallic and shimmering products recently as matte has been done to death.
