RAFW 2010: '70s Poolside at Jayson Brunsdon
The makeup look at Jayson Brunsdon was "clean '70s, not shaggy '70s," according to MAC Makeup Director, Nicole Thompson. It was polished. Bringing out the peachy-pinks from the collection, Nicole used a mix of Posie Blushcreme and Lilicent on the lips and cheeks and topped it up with some Politely Pink Lipstick. She said she's loving using the lustre-finish lippy as a sheer, dewy cheek colour. The brow was "structured, not too boxy," and created using powder shadow instead of a pen for a softer look. There was a little winged eye action, but the main focus was on the lashes. Nicole used Lashes # 4 which basically look like a strip of individual ones as they're quite "sparse and feathery." They were used to add definition and density so that you don't lose the eyes on the catwalk. Nail-wise, models fingers were painted with CND Putty plus gold shimmer as Jayson wanted a "cosmetic beige nude with a solid shine."
