RAFW 2010: It's a Brand New World at Kirrily Johnston

What do you get when a makeup artist, fashion designer and hair stylist sit down to watch Apocalypto together? Kirrily Johnston's makeup look for her latest collection. When we caught up with MAC's Natasha Severino backstage at Kirrily Johnston's Spring/Summer 2010-11, she told us that the whole question behind the collection was, "If this world were to disintegrate, what would happen; what does the future hold; what would the new race look like?" Deep questions for 10am on Day Four of RAFW, let me tell you. Luckily they were all answered for us. The "tribal unity" makeup look that Natasha created featured air-sprayed tattoos that adorned models' arms and faces, shading around the eyes (taupe on the socket and under the eyes; a wash of brulee on the lids) and trusty Lip Erase on the lips.
