The brief that MAC's Nicole Thompson got from Nookie designer Nikita included key words like '70s, music and dancing so Nicole went for a creamy-skin look. She's been dancing all night so it's the perfect finish, but it should never look sweaty so apply a touch of powder to the "hotspots" aka your T-zone if need be. The palette consists of warm copper tones, which is handy as they suit everybody and anybody. Nicole used her fingers to work in a blend of copper and tan pigments on the eye lid and just below the eye, this helped with the "effortlessly cool" vibe. The lashes were finished with a "chunky" application of MAC Zoom Lash in Black and then two Cream Colour Bases in Mid Tone Sepia and Vintage Rose finished the rest of the look. The sepia-tone was worked into the temple, tucked right up to the hair line to look natural, The rose shade was the hero product, adding the perfect dancing flush to the cheek and a light, natural pink to the lip. Officially my new day-time look. Glasto, here I come.
ps . . . Glitter Gal created a custom-blend Glitter Gal/Nookie polish that will be available to buy on their website soon. It mixed brown and silver polish to create a metallic light pewter shade. Gorgeous.
