What's the WORST Hair Advice You've Ever Received?

We've all been there, blindly following advice when we really should know better. My low point started with a friend (we're still friends amazingly) who promised that it would be super easy to trim my own fringe. Why was I wasting all my time in the salon on Saturday trying to grab a stylist for a two-minute trim when I could do it myself?

Worst. Mistake. Ever. I kept doing it wonky so in the end I looked like someone who had tried (and miserably failed) to wear an edgy cut.
