This Is the One Style You Need to Master For Spring
The buzz of London Fashion Week is infectious, and backstage at the Marchesa Spring Summer 15 show it's electric.
Hairdryers blast, people hurry around passing products and fixing models as they rush past, the mist of hairspray gives the air an incredible smell. The designers are off putting the final finishing touches to their collection, so backstage it's all about getting the hair and makeup just right and runway ready.
The cascading locks have that amazing Summer wave, that textured tousle that you always want your après-beach hair to have. Mark Hampton, Global Ambassador for Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe and hair director for the Marchesa show, says, "It's a little bit rock-and-roll it's undone, but not too messy. It's got a bohemian feel, it's soft and flowing."
British born Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the designers behind Marchesa, have brought their show to London for their tenth anniversary show. Georgina says, "It's special to us to be showing in London, being our tenth anniversary we wanted to come home this year."
Read on for Mark's fool-proof how-to on getting this look for yourself at home.
