Following a skin-care routine that's geared toward your specific skin type is important. Whether you're prone to breakouts, dry patches, an oily T-Zone (or all three) you can't expect those skin-care concerns to go away without the proper treatment.
There are six main skin types — oily, dry, combination, acne-prone, sensitive, and normal — and each one requires different things. Ahead, celebrity aesthetician Shani Darden shares her tips for creating a beginner's skin-care routine for each skin type in just three easy steps.
