Friends is a show that will never die. It's been nearly 13 years since it last aired on TV, but it continues to play a significant role in pop culture. In fact, I just started re-watching the series for what feels like the 46th time, and I'm here to argue that the show has never been more relevant.
From the 501s, the ribbed crop tops, to the nipple action that still gets talked about (Friends was way ahead of the "free the nipple" hashtag, guys). Maybe it's just my current obsession with the '90s, and my vision is compromised by my rose-tinted Ray-Bans, but something about the show feels so, right now.
And after seeing Bella Hadid in New York sporting her latest cut — a layered bob, I'd say nothing is more relevant than Rachel Green's hair.
Seriously, has there ever been a haircut so iconic that you don't need to take a reference to the hairdresser with you? I'm pretty sure they added "The Rachel" to the "Cuts to Know 101" curriculum back in 1994.
