How Benefit Is Reshaping More Than Just Brows
This feature is dedicated to our #NoChangeNoFuture initiative. From the Women's March, to Australia voting yes to same sex marriage, and the #MeToo movement, 2017 taught us to look beyond ourselves and come together as a collective of powerful women who are writing our own history. Join us as we cancel setting one-dimensional personal resolutions this January and commit to being the change we want to see. Because without change, there is no future.
If one of your new year's resolutions was to start paying it forward, but you haven't quite got there yet, then May is your month to really make that goal happen.
Benefit are proving you can turn a simple brow wax into an opportunity for change, by donating 100 percent of profits received from all brow services at Benefit Brow Bars in Myer, throughout the month of May. This is the fourth consecutive year that Benefit has run this incredible initiative with the aim to ensure both women and girls can #Be100Percent.
This year Benefit has also partnered with local fashion label Skin and Threads to design limited edition 'Hero' t-shirts as part of their global philanthropy program, Bold Is Beautiful. The t-shirts will be available for purchase in Myer stores nationally, with 100 percent of the profits donated to Benefit's Bold Is Beautiful partner charities.
Benefit's local charity partners include Sister2Sister, a charity focused on helping marginalised girls have life-changing experiences, Fitted for Work which seeks to empower women experiencing disadvantage to develop the confidence and skills to secure (and retain) work, and Look Good Feel Better a national program that supports cancer patients to cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
So get behind this great initiative, share with your friends, and reshape your brows to support Benefit's endeavour to spark new opportunities for girls and women to live their full potential.
