Body Scrubs for Hardcore Scrubbing Enthusiasts

Body Scrubs for Hardcore Scrubbing Enthusiasts

Real talk: By this time of year (every year), when the sun starts to shine a little brighter and our ankles get to see the light of day again, we start to freak out because we realise we've been seriously neglecting our (body) skin. Even though we managed to almost make it through Dry July for the sake of our liver, under our vintage Levi's and knits we've managed to completely de-prioritise our body's largest organ. Awkward realisation, hey?

Let's just call it how it is, weak scrubs really suck. And yes, we guess there's a time and a place for a gentle, nourishing scrub in your routine, but when it comes to unveiling (and ummm, de-scaling) your end-of-Winter skin, there's only one thing that's truly up to the challenge — and that's a hardcore scrub.

We'd suggest using these with the shower turned off, on only slightly wet skin, being sure to focus on those particularly rough areas — elbows, knees, and the like. We promise you'll leave the shower feeling like an almost new human, perfectly primed to take on the adventure of wearing short sleeve shirts again. Just be sure to follow up with your favourite body moisturiser to give your previously neglected skin some loving. Don't worry, it will forgive you . . . eventually.

So, if you like it rough (in the scrub department), make space for at least one of these in your shower caddy. Scroll to shop our roundup.
