Body Strobing at NYFW

Body Strobing Is the Easiest Way to Fake a Toned Physique

It's no longer a secret — contouring is an easy way to cheat a chiseled physique (especially when self-tanner gets involved). But if you really want to look taut and toned all year round, you need to add body strobing to your arsenal of beauty tricks.

Models were seen sporting a megawatt dose of highlighter on legs, arms, and shoulders as they walked the Hervé Léger Spring 2016 runway. Mac Cosmetics lead artist Val Garland told Lipstick that she mixed several different shades of Mac Cosmetics Strobe Cream to give the body shimmer more dimension. "When you have highlighter on your body, it makes you look tighter," she explained. "It makes you look like you have more muscle."
