Seoul Good! This Loud Lipped Chanel Look Is Your New Season Style
We can't get over this incredibly bright and popping lip look. It absolutely stole the runway in Seoul for Chanel's 2015/2016 Cruise Collection show. Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his brightly coloured ensembles celebrating shades of fuchsia pink, coral and intense orange, violet, celadon and mint green, turquoise and royal blue melted into woven tweeds and textured cotton.
To reinforce the bright colour theme running throughout the collection he used a bold makeup palette. The model's skin was prepped with the Chanel Hydra Beauty range to get a hydrated and smooth canvas. False lashes were used for an elongated and exaggerated flutter, while brows were defined with two sketched lines, framing the eyes with an artistic finish.
The pièce de résistance came in the bold lip colour Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in N°42 L'Éclatante ($52). The makeup artists applied this colour with a short, square brush to ensure the shade was even and crisp all the way to the lip's edge. Read on to zoom in on this stunning bold beauty trend, we think a bold shade should be your new season must-have makeup look.
