British beauty Carey Mulligan has landed the January cover of ELLE UK. Telling the magazine that she "still believe[s] in love at first sight," the 25-year-old, who split with her Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Shia LaBeouf back in October, talks to the magazine about her strong stance against Botox (go, Miss Mulligan!) and reveals why you won't catch her battling body image in Hollywood anytime soon . . .
On being offered Botox: “So I can’t move my face? Isn’t that the antithesis of what I’m trying to do as an actress? Only in LA would someone try and give you Botox when you’re 25 years old.”
On pressure to stay thin: “I’m not trying to sell myself as a visual. I’m selling my willingness to play a part really well. If your body doesn’t look normal, how can you convey normal people, how can you be relatable?”
Exactly, CM. Exactly. The lovely Carey, proving once again why she's our modern-day idol.
