Just when you'd gotten your head wrapped around the Autumn trends, up pops RAFW and fast forwards to Spring/Summer 2010/11. Carla Zampatti opened the proceedings and proved that a bright lip isn't just to be teamed with a party frock, it can work wonders against classic tailoring, too. Personally a bold lip (always pinks and corals, never red for S/S) is my go-to Springtime look, there's just something so fresh and fun about it. Keep the eyes bare (or at least your lash line natural) and add just a sheer hint of blush on the cheeks, in the same colour family, to add freshness to the complexion. Be careful not to overdo anything, including the hair (this slicked back style is perfect) because the focus should stay on the lip. Try MAC Lipsticks in Lustering, Girl About Town and Morange ($35 each). Whaddya think?
