PS: What essentials do you need to build the foundation of a YouTube channel?
CM: Camera, good lighting and a passion for what you're doing. Honestly, also just being your authentic self — that's what people come to watch you for.
PS: What lessons have you learnt from being a YouTuber that you'd share with people trying to hack the industry?
CM: Firstly, you can't let the opinions of others get in the way of your dreams and goals. Secondly, don't ever compare yourself or your growth with others — everyone is on their own individual journey. Lastly, be Switzerland! Stay out of the YouTube drama, be kind to everyone you encounter and give everybody an equal chance.
PS: What are the positives of the industry?
CM: Ummm . . . literally everything! I get to live my dream life! I can work from anywhere and I also get to meet some of the most amazing, inspiring humans.
