Chanel Spring Summer Haute Couture 2011: Blunt Eyeliner, High Brow Blush and More!

High Brow Blush, Blunt Eyeliner and Crystal Bows at Chanel

Peter Philips moved far away from the Chanel Spring '11 sultry smoky eye that he gave models in October and instead served up a much softer makeup palette in Paris this week. The models' skin looked glowing and gorgeous thanks to Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua foundation ($77) but the standout bit of base was definitely the blush which, much like the temple tones that we saw on the Spring '11 runways of Jean-Pierre Braganza and Moschino, extended from the top of the cheek bone to the end of the brow. Abbey Lee and co. were also sporting blunt winged eyes that had been purposely cut off to avoid a retro feel. The hair was teased and secured in an up 'do, with the models' black neck ribbons running into the style. Little crystal bow barrettes finished off the look. Cute and chic. Karl nails it every time. What do you think of it all?
