The Internet was abuzz with rumours about Dakota Fanning fronting Marc Jacobs' latest fragrance campaign months before the official word came from Coty that yes, she was. It was something that the designer was pragmatic about: "We live in a world where things leak. That’s just the way it is." Things we are only just learning however are that Dakota Fanning was "humbled" when asked to appear in the ad, counting herself as a fan of Jacobs' fragrances; the name of the scent is a direct play on "oh la la" and the new juice is sweeter, blending pear, raspberry, frais des bois, magnolia and vanilla. Also news to us is that Dakota has her last movie to thank for the gig, with Jacobs telling WWD: "I had recently seen The Runaways. Dakota was in it, and I knew she could be this contemporary Lolita, seductive yet sweet." What do you think of the ad, now that you've seen it in its official capacity? Are you excited for it?
