I'm normally a fan of print ads — 'specially fragrance ones — but sometimes TV ads for beauty products fall a bit flat. It's not their fault, how are you meant to say how totally rad your product is in just 12 seconds. Quite. Which is why I love it when brands release a mini-movie, extended version of their ad, just like ghd has done. It's not hard to see that the inspiration behind it is Cinderella, which just so happens to be one of my favourite fairytales. It's to promote the new ghd Deluxe Midnight Collection gift set ($309) which features a sleek gold classic styler, a beaut-iful baroque mirror and so much more. Ch, ch, check it out. You like?
