Cry Me a Chanel River: Behind the Scenes With Freja and Karl

We'd give anything to be a fly on the wall at a Chanel shoot — and it seems our prayers have been answered as the brand has just shared some ah-may-zing behind-the-scenes snaps of the latest A/W 2011 campaign shoot on its news site. We see Peter Philips, the global creative director for makeup, expertly applying the iconic interlocking "C's" with tweezers, to look as though they were tears on Freja Beha's face. We see mane man Sam McKnight securing Freja's various wigs. And we see Freja cheekily grinning, ear-to-ear, in front of snapper Karl Lagerfeld. If we were in her shoes, we'd be smiling just a little bit too. Le sigh. What do you think of the shots?
