Under-The-Sea Themed Nails: DIY Nail Art Using Water Decals

My under-the-sea themed nails! I finished with a generous application of top coat. I think this is important because you get that really glossy salon finish and it helps secure the transfer to the nail.

It might sound simple, but applying nail art water decals to freshly painted nails is one of the easiest ways to create a nail art look. I used a set of under-the-sea water decals I already had at home, but you can buy similar from craft stores and most large chemists.

I used a base coat, Australis Streak Free Nail Colour in Sweet Pea ($7.95), Sally Hansen Extended Wear Top Coat ($11.45) and Sally Hansen nail art water decals. Other than that, you'll need water, tweezers and some scissors  too easy. Let's go!
