Estee Lauder For Derek Lam and Lancome For The Row at New York Fashion Week
Who's Doing What Backstage at New York Fashion Week
So, Style.com has been spilling the secrets of who we can expect to see working on what shows at New York Fashion Week which kicks off tomorrow, our time. Excited, much? Fab and I are like kids in a candy store. The first bit of very good news is that Estée Lauder is making its backstage debut (can you've believe that the gorgeous luxe brand has never done fashion week?) for Derek Lam. Last year Lam's show featured vibrant coral lids, complete with accentuated smoky sockets in an aubergine hue; now given that Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder's Creative Director, is known for making up faces beautifully, I wonder if we can expect to see more focus on the skin this year? Stayed tuned and see. Also, Aaron De Mey—Lancôme's Artistic Director of Makeup and creator of this pretty palette—will be making up faces for The Row, you know, Mary Kate and Ashley's label. With those three names floating around, you just know something amazing is going to be sent down the runway. Too. Excited. For. Words.
