First Look: Benjamin Millepied's YSL L’Homme Libre Ad Campaign

Freedom & Fate in Benjamin Millepied's YSL L’Homme Libre Ad

Back in May we told you that Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman would be creating a little fragrance family of their own, with news that Benjamin would be following in Natalie's footsteps and fronting a fragrance for Yves Saint Laurent. Now the campaign, which was shot by Patrick Demarchelier, has been released and it's certainly got our tick of approval. It sees Benjamin — Natalie Portman’s fiancé, Black Swan choreographer and a principal dancer of the New York City Ballet — atop a NYC-city rooftop looking as though he's preparing to pirouette. The fragrance, YSL L’Homme Libre, is aimed at a younger market than L'Homme and La Nuit de L’Homme which were fronted by Olivier Martinez and Vincent Cassel, with the inspiration behind the campaign being "the debate between freedom and fate."
