This $32 Foundation Has a Finish Worth 3 Times the Price
Let's be real, as much as we love seeing all the Fashion Week beauty looks there's really nothing we love more than landing our hot little hands on a backstage beauty secret straight from the pros. And when that secret involves an almost perfect (and affordable) dupe for a seriously iconic product we just had to share.
While talking through The Body Shop's look for the Karla Spetic show — day two at MBFWA — we were desperate to know what products had been used to create the seriously flawless base. Makeup director Mikele Simone revealed that his latest kit staple is The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation, but it's what he shared next that blew us away. Fresh Nude Foundation from The Body Shop is an almost dupe for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation — can you believe? After seeing the skin of the Karla Spetic models backstage, we're believers! Although slightly different in formula (The Body Shop base is more liquid) and very different in price (ahem, Fresh Nude Foundation comes in at $32 — that's less than half the price!) both formulas have the familiar buildability and perfect finish that makes achieving that "real skin" look almost easy.
As much as we'd love to keep this one to ourselves we felt it would be rude not to share. However, we'd recommend getting in fast cause we'll be telling all our friends and stocking up for ourselves ASAP.
