Usually one to create the prettiest pastels around town, Nicolas Degennes has this time around created a more modern makeup collection that will ensure your 2010 is punctuated with colour.

Degennes has been at the helm of Givenchy's makeup direction for 10 years but says he still gets excited at the prospect of new collections. Wanting to start afresh, New Impressions is his blank page, symbolising the freedom to dig deep, "explore and redefine oneself."

Givenchy New Impressions will hit counters on February 15.
