Sigh. It's magnificent isn't it? Pop and Fab catch me gazing at it adoringly every so often. As Guerlain's Creative Director, Olivier Échaudemaison, says, a new season is a new story, and spring 2010's tale is “la vie en rose” with an Asian twist, which you can see most notably in the eyeshadow and blush palettes' intricate design work. But don't be fooled into thinking that the Météorites Voyage Exceptional Pressed Powder ($280) is solely a sight to behold. In actual fact the six shades have been careful selected to impart radiance. Mauve catches the light and brightens; pink refreshes the skin; green reduces redness, while white, champagne and pink gold reflect the light for added luminosity. The Rouge G de Guerlain Le Brillant ($68) lipstick-cum-James-Bond-gadget is also available in six new shades. Lust, lust, lust. Love, love, love.
