Teresa Palmer flew the Aussie flag ever so stylishly in NY on Tuesday night for the premiere of her new movie, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Opting for an intricately twisted up 'do that looked mega complicated, you'll be relieved to learn that it's actually super easy to recreate at home. Kelly Grant from Our Place Salon in Sydney's Potts Point shares her tips on the totally twisted style.
STEP 1: To achieve Teresa's look, you need to curl your hair first. This curl can be created using a straightening iron, spraying each section of your curl with KMS California’s Curl Up Hot Spiral Spray ($28.50) to create a soft curl.
STEP 2: Lightly brush the curls out to create texture.
STEP 3: Take small sections from the front to the top of the crown twisting hair into one direction and securing with bobby pins to create a loose look.
STEP 4: For the back of the hair, start from the crown, taking small sections, twisting the hair again to copy the feel of the front of the hair, but pinning the hair flat to the scalp with bobby pins.
STEP 5: Finish with KMS California Hair Stay Medium Hold Hair Spray ($19.50).
