Hair How-To: Nicole Kidman's Styled-to-the-Side Soft Curls
Celeb stylist to the stars (Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson and SJP have him on speed dial) David Babaii was the mane man behind Nicole Kidman's gorgeous soft curls as she filmed The Oprah Winfrey Show in Sydney.
According to David, the inspiration for Nicole's hair came from Australia itself, and the attitude that we apply to beauty: he wanted a look that could easily go from day to night and one that was perfect for any occasion. Here's his lowdown on recreating the style for yourself at home in four simple steps:
STEP 1: Wash your hair and while it's still damp, spray David Babaii for WildAid Bohemian Beach Spray ($22.99) to the main body of the hair and Volcanic Ash Root Amplifyer ($22.50) to the roots to help give some extra body and movement.
Keep reading . . . STEP 2: Blow-dry your hair, using a round brush to create a soft wave.
STEP 3: Using a comb, gently loosen the curls and pull the hair over to one side.
