Ponytails are making a comeback this Spring — we spotted them on the runway at Céline (j'adore), Banana Republic and Lanvin, as well as on celebs like Victoria Beckham and Little Miss Jessica Szohr at a charity fundraiser yesterday. We've already got sleek and sexy styles covered so now it's time to learn how to create the feminine textured ponytail, just like this one that Rodney Cutler, the stylist responsible for Emma Watson's pixie cut, created for the Spring/Summer 2011 Banana Republic show earlier this week. To achieve the look at home, simply follow these five steps:
STEP 1: Spray a volumizer like Frédéric Fekkai Instant Volume Spray ($39) onto towel-dried hair.
STEP 2: Twist sections of hair while drying it with a hairdryer.
STEP 3: When hair is dry, part your hair to the side, then pull it loosely into a ponytail at the nape of the neck. For a smooth look, secure the ponytail with elastic — the same shade as your hair.

STEP 5: To give hair more texture, apply Redken Style Connection Wool Shake 08 ($36.95) to the ponytail
