If I had a dollar for every time I heard this question, I'd be a rich little lady. I've even told people that it does myself, long before I was a highly trained astronaut beauty editor. Around the time I was 12 and thought I knew ev-er-ything. But now I've come to realise that curling with my ghd, wearing orange lipstick and creating a winged eye are my strong points, yellowing nails, not so much. So here's where I hand you over to Fiona Hay, ORLY RAFW Director. A round of applause, if you please. "Not always. However I find that anything in the orange colour family stains worse than others. To avoid this, always use a base coat and don't keep the colour on for more than three weeks. If you do get yellowing, it can be rectified by getting a mani/pedi, gentle buffing and a stain removal soak." Sweet. No chopping off of hands necessary. Thanks Fi.
