Hair How-To: The High Bun

I think we’ve talked about the big, high bun enough to know that (aside from braids) it’s one of our favourite hairstyles and a winner when you need a quick up-do. STEP 1: Prepare the hair by blow-drying with Goldwell Inner Effect Repower Root Lift Spray ($27.95) to give body and shine.

STEP 2: Softly brush hair back into a high pony and secure with a tie.

STEP 3: Use Inner Effect Repower Hairspray ($27.95) to smooth any fly-aways around the hair line. Then wrap the hair around, twisting it slightly. Make sure you hide the hair tie.

STEP 4: Secure with bobby pins all the way around the chignon.
