Indian man sues Lynx because he hasn't had a girlfriend

No Such Thing as The Lynx Effect After All?

For those of you that didn’t see The 7pm Project last night, you missed a corker of a story. A 26-year-old Indian guy, Vaibhav Bedi, is suing Unilever (the makers of Lynx) for $91,000 because he’s failed to get a girl in seven years. Bless.

He says the lack of The Lynx Effect has caused him “depression and psychological damage," and has handed over half-used Axe products (which Lynx trades itself as in India) for testing.

Now I feel for Vaibhav, I really do, but a little part of me still thinks, “come on, did you really think it would work?” There are other factors – besides using Lynx – that result in us throwing ourselves at you.

What do you think?
