Way back when in 1961, before COVERGIRL was even called that, the brand launched Clean Liquid Makeup ($15.50). The ultimate in un-cakey makeup, this foundation let skin breath and nailed it for those who liked to have coverage but didn’t want – or want others – to see said coverage.
But like anyone who’s nearing the big 5-0, she felt she needed a bit of a shakeup to prove to all these young things that she’s still got what it takes. Hence the rather fancy new look that will hit shelves come February 2010.
