Joe Corre Has 10 Percent Stake in UK Makeup Brand Illamasqua

Illamasqua Set to Get Even More Provocative

Agent Provocateur co-founder (and Vivienne Westwood's son), Joe Corre, just took a 10 percent stake in UK avant-garde makeup brand, Illamasqua (which you can get at ASOS). Corre told WWD that he will “bring the skills I developed at Agent Provocateur and Vivienne Westwood at retail,” meaning that expansion is set to happen sooner rather than later, with Australia said to be on the cards. Woot woot! Keep reading . . .

And there's no danger of the theatrical brand not appealing to the masses; as Corre says: “I think because the essence of the brand is about celebrating and facilitating the fundamental human desire for self expression and showing that through the skin, it transcends cultural and national boundaries.” Indeed. Now hurry up and open an Aussie flagship, pretty please!
