Kate Bosworth Calls Herself Low-Maintenance, Says Mum Tells Her to Blow-Dry Her Hair More Often in Lucky Magazine January 2011

Kate Bosworth's Mum Tells Her Off for Not Blow-Drying Hair!

Mum's. You gotta love them. They're the ones who insist on pointing out that blemish that you thought you'd concealed so well. The ones who tell you that your brows need doing. That the $55 lipstick you're wearing "really isn't your colour." And it turns out, it doesn't change if you're an A-list actress who dates one of the hottest guys on the planet either.

Kate Bosworth, who covers the January 2011 issue of Lucky, revealed to the mag that she's "in a constant battle with my mom because she’s always saying, ‘Please, can’t you blow-dry your hair? It looks so much nicer when you blow-dry it.’" Sorry mom, but considering us Sugar girls spend every single day trying to emulate Kate's gorgeous hairstyles, 'specially this one from the Lucky spread, we're on Team Kate! Bossie describes herself as "the most low-maintenance person" and even though we've heard 1,000 celebs roll out that line, we actually believe Kate when she says it. Despite longing for thicker hair — like every other fine-haired girl around — the actress revealed, "I’d just rather be doing something else than blow-drying my hair." Umm, with Alexander Skarsgård around, so would we Kate. So would we.
