Yes. Yes she did. Seriously is there anything Kate (sorry, we really should start calling you Catherine) can't do: snag a prince, handle insane media scrutiny, dress as a mermaid, party plan, adorn a plate, do her own makeup. She is like SUPERWOMAN. But a really down-to-earth, not at all show-off kind of one. And we are loving her more and more at Sugar HQ.
We love that, as well as the traditional engagement shot, they've gone with a fresh and fun-loving one, too. We immediately zoned in on Kate and decided that she looked 11/10. Flawless. Absolutely flawless. But we could not BELIEVE that she'd done it all herself, with Mario Testino's makeup team only on-hand in case any last-minute touch-ups were needed. The fact that she decided to go solo for this one — when all eyes would most definitely be on her — speaks volumes about her "realness," and also her inner confidence.
While there's no word on what Kate used, we do know how she creates a perfect blank canvas — by religiously using Karin Herzog products, one of the pioneers of oxygen-infused skincare. Kate/Catherine uses Karin Herzog Professional Cleansing Cream ($70), Vita-A-Kombi 1 ($90) and Vita-A-Kombi 3 ($90). And in case you're ever in London and looking for the royal treatment, pop along to the Richard Ward salon and ask for James Pryce, Kate's go-to stylist.
