Lady Gaga has landed herself the coveted September cover of Vanity Fair. Shot by Nick Knight, the superstar looks uncharacteristically demure with her McMenamy mane and heavy flutter. She's nak-ed, save for a diamond choker. Ploise, this is Gaga. She had to do something "look at me." But I'm loving the softer makeup palette: a blend of white, silver and mauve-grey. The inch-deep part with the rest combed back to create some volume is another nod to the '60s, but I'm not sure about her latest hair hue. I think I preferred the yellow. The whole vibe is very peace, free love and openness. Which is Gaga to a T, I guess. Check out those dove grey nails. Better get in line for Sportsgirl and Alpha 60's Give Hope nail polish. Whaddya think?
